Digital Art students have been Finalists in the Photographers Forum Annual College & High School Photography Contest, sponsored by Nikon, USA. for 3 years in a row. The latest hardcover book, Best of College & High School Photography 2014, publishes the selected work of all winners, honorable mentions, and finalists. Over 16,600 photographs from students in the U.S., Canada and around the world were judged. Our 2014 Finalist is Denise Robillard and our 2013 published Finalist was Nedaara Powell. The 2012 published Finalist was Armando Zamora. Armando is currently studying Commercial Photography at Parsons New School of Design in New York City.

SUPERINTENDENT’S ADVANCED PLACEMENT STUDIO ART EXHIBITION
Briyana Butler won an Honorable Mention for her piece "Chemical Madness" in the Superintendent Advanced Placement Studio Art Exhibit. The exhibit will take place at the Coral Springs Museum of Art January 3 until January 31, 2015. Briyana will be recognized as a recipient of the Arts for the Future Scholarship at the January 22nd Award Ceremony and required to attend Stars on Parade, a gala celebration at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts on March 11, 2015.
